Pinterest

Interesting to say the least, it combines a few of our favorite social media sites into one.  You can definitely get your own flavor and personality on those boards.  All content may not be appropriate as students find links they like.  Great source for personal use.

Digital Story Telling

An excellent tool for making a sequence of events interactive and fun for all involved.  Read into a personality by how it is laid out, colors, videos, etc.  Very interesting tool.

JUST VISITING

HERE IS A LIST OF SITES THAT I HAVE VISITED:

Wonderful pages will refer to them throughout the year.

YOUR VOTE COUNTS!!

signed up for that poll everywhere resource, and I found it a great way to link at students favorite pastimes, together such as texting and internet researching.  Great tool for checks for understanding or quantify what needs to be reinforced.

MY WIKI

So I set up this wiki page and found it to ben kind of restricting.  The blogger and glogster accounts are much easier to navigate, appeal is better, and just better services.  While wiki may be more advanced or whatever, in this experience I did not like the service.

Google Docs

Great way to keep up with all documents, presentations, spreadsheets, etc.  The sweet part is that it is similar to the format of the Microsoft programs, so it is user friendly and no need to save.  Good resource to use for students with no flash drive, etc to view information at large.

Delicious

Saving and tagging bookmarks.  No more searching through your history, no more trying to remember what results you found all that time ago.  Just tag and book it on delicious,  Great way to share as well through many avenues.
